Mel Wendt Realty has been proud to meet the real estate and appraisal needs of the Western Racine and Southern Waukesha Counties since February of 1964. At that time the name Holtz and Wendt Realty was who people turned to for real estate services. |
| The Loomis Road office remained the headquarters for Mel Wendt and father-in-law Elmer Holtz until 1978 when Elmer retired.
Since 1985 Mel's son Jim has added his appraisal and brokering skills to the business. In September of 1988 Mel Wendt Realty moved to its current location, on the corner of State Highway 36 and South Loomis Road. | |
| Both Jim and Mel have lived in the Wind Lake area their entire lives, which helps them to find the right area to meet the needs and desires of their clients. Both are members of the National Board of Realtors® and the Lakes Area Realtors® Association. Within their community, Jim has lent his time to the Muskego-Norway School District's Strategic Planning Team as well as doing speaking engagements for the Wisconsin Donor Network and the Wisconsin Tissue Bank. Mel is active on the Board of Directors for First Banking Center, based in Burlington. With the area so rich in recreational opportunities on the lakes, Mel and Jim use their lifetime experiences and knowledge to provide strong background information and suggestions to those seeking expertise with all types of real estate transactions. Mel Wendt Realty offers farms, lots and acreage, residential and commercial real estate listings. Jim is also a Certified Residential Appraiser, with numerous hours of appraisal experience to his credit. The office of Mel Wendt Realty can offer you comprehensive and courteous attention; as a family business, it has grown and developed based on these principles. As local residents themselves, Mel and Jim offer the best testimony for the area, they are choosing to live in the very same area. We hope that you find this site useful.
